Dr. Andrés Lozano

Dr. Andrés Lozano completed his medical sutdies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Univerdidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Later, he did his social service at the Esquipulas clinic in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, where care is provided to indigenous patients of that state. It was during this period that he was involved in the ophthalmological surgical campaign "Ilumina tu mundo" that takes place annually in that place, and it was then that he decided that ophthalmology was the way to go.

At the end of his social service, he moved to Israel, to the prestigious Hadassah Hospital of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to fulfill his specialty training in Ophthalmology. Upon completion of the residency, he was admitted to a fellowship program at the same institution to continue his training in Oculoplastic Surgery, Orbits, Eyelids, and Lacrimal Pathways.

Dr. Lozano is certified by the CMO (Mexican Council of Ophthalmology), is a member of the ESOPRS (European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), and the CONL (College of Ophthalmologists of Nuevo León)
